Cargo 2-P Double Drawer Storage System for Pickup Trucks

The Cargo 2-P Double Drawer Storage System is a practical, secure and space-efficient storage solution designed specifically for pickup trucks, combining two full-length enclosed drawers with integrated side storage cabinets and a useful full-width top tray.

Designed to make effective use of the rear load area, the Cargo 2-P fits between the wheel arches while the additional side storage compartments utilise the space between the main drawer unit and the sides of the pickup load bed.

This layout provides a combination of large main drawers and separate enclosed side compartments, making it easy to organise tools, work equipment, recovery gear, country sports equipment, dog training accessories and other items that need to remain protected and easy to access.

The complete system is manufactured as a standalone unit and securely installed into the pickup, while still allowing removal or transfer between suitable vehicles where dimensions permit.

Designed for Pickup Truck Load Areas

The Cargo 2-P is designed to make efficient use of the available storage space in the rear of a pickup truck.

The main double drawer unit fits between the wheel arches, allowing the drawers to extend through the available load length while keeping equipment enclosed and organised.

On either side of the main drawer unit, integrated side storage cabinets make use of the space between the drawer system and the sides of the tailgate opening.

This provides additional enclosed compartments for smaller or frequently used items that you may prefer to keep separate from the contents of the main drawers.

Full-Length Double Drawer Storage

The Cargo 2-P incorporates two full-length storage drawers, providing substantial enclosed storage within the pickup load area.

The drawers are ideal for carrying tools, work equipment, recovery equipment, country sports equipment, dog training accessories, clothing and other items that need to remain secure, organised and protected.

Each drawer operates using our Air Glide system, providing smooth operation without conventional greased metal drawer runners.

This makes the system particularly suitable for working and outdoor vehicles, as there are no greased runners to attract dirt, grit, dog hair or mud during regular use.

Each drawer liner is fitted with a lockable stainless-steel slam-to-close paddle latch and includes a removable 3mm rubber mat.

Twist-Release Removable Drawer Liners

Each drawer liner incorporates our twist-release stop system, allowing the drawer to remain securely retained during normal use while still being easy to remove for cleaning or maintenance.

During normal operation, the stop prevents the drawer liner from being accidentally removed when fully extended.

When removal is required, the stop can simply be rotated through 90 degrees, allowing the complete drawer liner to be withdrawn from the main drawer unit.

Once the liner has been refitted, the stop is rotated back into position to secure the drawer again.

This provides a simple, completely tool-free method of removing the drawer liners.

Integrated Side Storage Cabinets

A key feature of the Cargo 2-P is its integrated side storage cabinets.

These compartments utilise the space between the main drawer unit and the sides of the pickup load area, extending forward towards the wheel arches where the vehicle layout allows.

They provide useful additional enclosed storage for smaller items that you may want to keep separate from the main drawers, including tools, straps, leads, accessories and other frequently used equipment.

Each side storage compartment is fitted with a locking stainless-steel catch, helping keep equipment secure and organised.

The Cargo 2-P is particularly well suited to customers who value having a combination of large main drawers and separate side compartments within the same installation.

For customers who do not require separate side storage, the Cargo 2N-P uses the same core double drawer design without the integrated side cabinets.

Three-Sided Top Storage Tray

A three-sided top tray is fitted across the Cargo 2-P drawer system, creating a practical additional load platform above the drawers.

The tray is supplied as standard with a 3mm rubber mat, helping prevent equipment from moving around during normal driving.

An alloy edging strip is fitted along the front edge of the tray, acting as a wear strip while also helping retain the rubber mat securely in position.

The top tray is manufactured to suit the installation and provides a clean, practical finish across the drawer and side storage system.

Where the complete drawer system may need to be removed from the vehicle on a regular basis, the tray can be manufactured to remain within the overall width required for easier removal.

Removable and Transferable Installation

The Cargo 2-P is installed as one complete drawer, side storage and tray assembly.

The system is securely fixed to the floor of the pickup during installation.

Where vehicle dimensions permit, the complete storage system can also be removed and transferred between suitable vehicles.

This can be particularly useful for customers who change pickups but want to retain their existing drawer storage system.

Compatibility depends on the internal dimensions of the vehicles involved, so please contact us before transferring an existing system to another pickup.

Side Storage Layout

The defining feature of the Cargo 2-P is the way it combines the main double drawer system with separate integrated side storage cabinets.

This gives the user different types of enclosed storage within the same installation.

The main drawers provide larger storage areas for tools, equipment and bulkier items, while the side cabinets provide separate compartments for smaller accessories and frequently used equipment.

For some customers, this separation can make it easier to organise different types of equipment and access smaller items without opening the main drawers.

The suitability and dimensions of the side cabinets depend on the make, model and available space within the pickup load area.

Cargo 2-P or Cargo 2N-P?

Both systems use the same core full-length double drawer design, Air Glide operation, removable drawer liners and practical top tray.

The main difference is how the available storage space is arranged.

The Cargo 2-P includes separate integrated side storage cabinets alongside the main double drawer unit. These provide additional enclosed compartments for smaller tools, accessories and equipment that you may want to keep separate from the main drawers.

The Cargo 2N-P does not include the side cabinets. On suitable pickup models with wider spacing between the wheel arches, the available width can instead be incorporated into a wider main drawer unit, providing greater capacity within the drawers themselves.

The Cargo 2N-P is also £100 less than the equivalent Cargo 2-P configuration.

Neither layout is intended to be a smaller or larger version of the other. The most suitable choice depends on whether you prefer separate side compartments or would rather use the available space within the main drawer system.
