Safer, easier loading and unloading for your dogs

The Tailgate Flap is a simple but extremely useful addition to any Pick-Up used for transporting dogs. It is designed to bridge the gap between the tailgate and the truck bed, creating a smoother, safer surface for dogs when jumping in and out of the vehicle.

Without a flap, the gap between the tailgate and load bed can potentially catch a dog’s paw or leg. The Tailgate Flap covers this area, making access to your dog box much easier and giving you extra peace of mind when loading and unloading.

Strong, practical and designed for everyday use

The flap is securely riveted or screwed into position and incorporates a full-length stainless-steel hinge, providing strength and rigidity while allowing the flap to move freely with the tailgate.

A slight ‘kink’ in the design allows the flap to sit neatly and flat when the tailgate is lowered. When you close the tailgate, the flap simply folds upwards automatically, so there is nothing to remove, reposition or store.

It is suitable for the UK’s commonly available Pick-Up trucks and can be fitted to both new builds and existing vehicles.

Optional Anti-Slip Tailgate Mat

For even better footing, we can fit an Anti-Slip Tailgate Mat underneath the Tailgate Flap.

The mat is manufactured from 3mm rubber with a cloth reinforcement insert, providing a much more secure surface than the often slippery plastic liners fitted to Pick-Up tailgates.

This is particularly useful for dogs jumping into or out of the vehicle, especially in wet or muddy conditions, when the standard tailgate surface can become very slippery.

Can be fitted to your existing Pick-Up

You don't need to be ordering a new dog box to have a Tailgate Flap fitted. We can install the flap and optional mat onto your existing Pick-Up at our workshop.

Or we can post them to you to be fitted by yourself, we provide the fixings, you just need to drill the holes for the fixings.

Fresh drinking water, securely mounted and always within easy reach.

Our Door Drinkers are one of our most popular accessories, providing a simple and convenient way to keep water available for your dogs while they are in their compartments.

Manufactured from the same tough 6mm leather-grain polypropylene used throughout our dog box systems, each drinker is fully welded to create a strong, watertight bowl. The drinking edges are capped with aluminium, helping to protect the areas most likely to be chewed.

The drinker simply clips securely onto the door mesh, so it can easily be removed when you need to empty, clean or refill it. A return lip around the bowl helps to reduce water spilling when the vehicle is moving or if the bowl has been filled a little too generously.

Two versions available

We manufacture the Door Drinker in two designs:

Vertical Door Drinker – for dog boxes with upright doors.

Angled Door Drinker – designed for sloping doors up to a maximum angle of 75°.

If you are ordering a Door Drinker separately from your dog box, please let us know which version you require.

Please note

Although the aluminium-capped drinking edge provides good protection, the lower corners of the drinker remain accessible. If your dog is particularly determined when it comes to chewing fixtures and fittings, we would not recommend this option.

The mat measures 1200mm in length and is made to the width of your dog box, providing generous coverage of the exposed bumper area.

One end of the mat sits securely underneath your dog box, whilst the remaining length hangs over the bumper, creating a protective barrier between your dogs and your vehicle's paintwork.

Quick and easy to use – no need to remove the mat

The Bumper Protection Mat is supplied with two hook clips attached to short elasticated straps, allowing the mat to be quickly and easily secured to the door mesh of your dog box.

When you've finished loading your dogs, simply lift the mat and clip it onto the door mesh. This keeps the mat neatly out of the way, allowing the boot or tailgate to be closed without having to remove or store the mat separately.

The purpose-made holder is securely fixed in position, preventing the container from sliding or moving around while travelling. The 5 litre container can be easily removed whenever water is needed and returned securely to its holder afterwards.

Top Storage Tray – Make the Most of Your Available Space

Our Top Storage Tray is a useful addition to your dog box, providing valuable extra storage space for your everyday equipment without taking up any additional room inside your vehicle.

Designed to make use of the often-wasted space above your dog box, the tray is ideal for keeping dog leads, training equipment, coats and other essentials organised and within easy reach.

The Top Storage Tray can be added to selected dog box models, provided there is sufficient height available within your vehicle.

The Top Storage Tray is manufactured from the same hard-wearing polypropylene material as your dog box and is fully welded directly to the top of the box, creating a strong, rigid and permanent storage area.

Unlike loose storage containers, the tray forms an integral part of your dog box, providing a secure and practical place to keep your equipment whilst travelling.

The tray is normally manufactured with 50mm-high sides and a reduced 25mm-high front edge, making it easier to reach in and retrieve your equipment whilst helping to keep items contained within the tray.

Escape Hatch – Additional Safety and Peace of Mind for Your Dogs

An important safety feature providing an alternative way to access your dogs in an emergency

Our Escape Hatch is a valuable safety addition to your dog box, providing an alternative access point to your dogs should the rear of your vehicle become inaccessible following an accident.

In the unfortunate event of a collision, the rear doors or tailgate of your vehicle could become damaged or obstructed, making it difficult or impossible to reach your dogs through the normal dog box doors.

The Escape Hatch provides a secondary access point, giving you or the emergency services another way to reach and remove your dogs when access through the main doors is not possible.

Strong, secure and built to last

Our Escape Hatches are manufactured from the same hard-wearing polypropylene material as your dog box, ensuring they match the strength, durability and appearance of the rest of the unit.

Each hatch is fitted with a full-length stainless-steel hinge, providing a strong and reliable connection to the dog box whilst allowing the hatch to be opened when required.

To keep the hatch securely closed during everyday use, we fit two catches to each hatch.

This combination of durable materials, strong hinges and secure catches ensures the Escape Hatch is a practical and reliable addition to your dog box.

Optional mesh insert for additional ventilation

Where required, the Escape Hatch can also be manufactured with a mesh ventilation insert, providing additional airflow through the dog box whilst retaining the convenience of an alternative access point.

This option is particularly useful on van dog boxes, where the Escape Hatch can provide both additional ventilation and emergency access.

The mesh insert is incorporated into the hatch during manufacture, ensuring it forms a neat and secure part of the finished dog box.

Upgrade the standard 3mm rubber mat in your dog box to our 12mm Heavy-Duty Mat, providing a thicker, more insulated and substantial floor covering for your dogs.

At 12mm thick, the upgraded mat provides additional insulation between your dogs and the floor of the vehicle, helping to create a more comfortable environment inside the dog box.

The increased thickness also makes the mat firmer and more rigid than our standard 3mm rubber mat, helping it sit neatly and securely within the compartments. Its heavier construction also makes it much more difficult for dogs to lift, move or get hold of the edges to chew.

Our Internal Fitted Fan is a 12V ventilation system designed to distribute airflow evenly throughout the dog box.

The fan is fitted internally, usually at the rear of the box, and feeds air through the roof support trunking. A series of outlets along the trunking then distributes the airflow throughout the individual dog compartments.

This design provides even air circulation across the box, rather than directing the full airflow onto one dog. So, whether you have a single or multi-compartment setup, all dogs benefit from the additional ventilation.

The fan produces 116 CFM of airflow, providing ample air movement for even our larger double dog boxes.

A conveniently positioned on/off switch is fitted to the box for easy operation. Where a permanent 12V supply is available at the rear of the vehicle, the fan can also be used with the ignition switched off. Its low power consumption means a separate leisure battery is not normally required.

Our blue LED interior lights are a practical addition to your dog box, giving you clear visibility inside each compartment when travelling early in the morning, late at night or during the darker winter months.

The lights are fitted neatly into the roof area of the dog box, either within the roof trunking or behind the top sill of the door, depending on the design of your box. They are wired to an easy-to-reach switch, positioned in a prominent and convenient location.

For added protection, every LED light is supplied with a stainless-steel mesh chew guard. This helps prevent inquisitive dogs from getting to the light or wiring and ensures the installation remains protected during everyday use.

The subtle blue LED lighting provides useful illumination without the harshness of a bright white light. It makes checking on your dogs much easier while travelling and is particularly handy for larger multi-compartment boxes — giving you a quick way to check every compartment and make sure everyone is safely on board before setting off.

The worklight is professionally wired into your dog box installation for a neat, permanent finish. All internal wiring is protected within trunking, keeping cables safely out of reach of your dogs.

Depending on the installation, the light can be operated by a conveniently positioned separate switch or by a switch on the light unit itself. If you choose to have multiple worklights fitted, they can be wired to operate together from a single switch or independently — whichever suits your set-up best.

The 12V 2-Way Electric Roof Fan is an excellent ventilation upgrade for dog vans, pick-up trucks and other vehicles used for transporting dogs. Mounted through the roof of the vehicle, it provides powerful airflow to help keep fresh air circulating around the dog box area.

Unlike a standard extractor, the fan operates in two directions. Using the fitted switch, you can choose to draw fresh air into the vehicle or extract warm, stale air out, giving you greater control over ventilation depending on the conditions.

The fan has a low-profile, aerodynamic design with a robust European-made construction. Its powerful 2600 RPM motor delivers approximately 850 m³/h of airflow, while operating at a noise level of around 52 dB.

Available in either black or white, the fan can be selected to best suit your vehicle. Please let us know your preferred colour when ordering.

For a neat, permanent installation, we can hard wire your dog box lighting and fan system directly into the vehicle’s 12V electrical supply. This removes the need to plug the box into a separate 12V socket each time you use it and gives the whole installation a much cleaner, more professional finish.

The system is fully wired into the vehicle, with the fan and lighting switches conveniently positioned on the dog box in an easily accessible location. All wiring around the box is installed neatly and securely, with exposed internal wiring protected where necessary.

If the hard wiring option is not selected, your fans and lights will be supplied with a power cable exiting the side of the dog box, fitted with a 12V male plug ready to connect to a suitable 12V power socket in your vehicle.

When choosing the hard wiring option, we can also install additional 12V or USB power sockets at the rear of your vehicle.

These provide a convenient power point close to your dog box and working area, ideal for charging phones, running compatible 12V accessories or powering other equipment without having to use the sockets at the front of the vehicle.

Our 1/4 Divider is designed to divide a larger dog compartment into two individual sections, making it ideal when you need to separate a dog from the others you are carrying.

The divider is fully removable, so you can use the full-size compartment when required and simply fit the divider when you need two separate spaces.

Something to Consider

Because the divider incorporates an internal door, you will need to reach into the dog compartment to open and close it. This is worth considering on Pick-Up systems, where the additional reach can make access less convenient.

Important – Must Be Ordered Before Manufacture

The 1/4 Divider must be specified before manufacture of your dog box begins. We build additional stiffeners into the box specifically for the divider, and these are difficult to add once the box has been completed.

Flexible organisation for your drawer storage, with adjustable dividers that can be repositioned whenever your needs change.

The Drawer Divider System is a practical addition to our drawer liners, helping you keep equipment, leads, tools and other smaller items organised and easy to find.

The system is designed with multiple locating positions at 25mm intervals, allowing the dividers to be moved along the drawer to create compartments of different sizes. If the equipment you carry changes, simply reposition the dividers to create a layout that works for you.

Made from the same durable polypropylene as our drawer units, the divider system is tough, hygienic and easy to wipe clean.

Our Removable Storage Caddies provide a practical alternative to the Drawer Divider System and can also be used alongside it. Each caddy is designed to sit neatly inside the drawer and can simply be lifted out whenever the full drawer space is required.

Manufactured from the same durable polypropylene as our drawer liners, the caddies are tough, easy to clean and watertight. This makes them particularly useful for carrying smaller items, muddy equipment, bottles and anything else that could make a mess if it leaks or spills.

Flexible Storage

The removable design means you can organise all your everyday equipment in the caddy, then lift the entire contents out in one go when you need the drawer for larger items.

This is particularly useful if your vehicle has more than one role – for example, storing tools and work equipment during the week, then quickly clearing the drawers ready for shooting, dog training or other equipment at the weekend.

Made to Suit Your Drawers

Depending on the depth of the drawer, two caddies can usually be fitted into each drawer liner, giving you separate removable storage sections.

Caddies can also be made to bespoke sizes. Simply send us the dimensions you require and we will provide a quotation.

Can be used with or without our Drawer Divider System. Quantity that will fit in each drawer depends on drawer dimensions, (usually two).

A practical, removable storage solution for keeping dry dog food clean, organised and close to hand.

The Dog Biscuit Container is designed to fit neatly inside the drawer liner of your storage system, providing a dedicated space for storing dry dog biscuits, treats or similar items without taking over the rest of your drawer.

Manufactured from durable polypropylene sheet, the container is hygienic, easy to wipe clean and will not absorb moisture or harbour germs. A small hinged lid on the top provides quick and convenient access while helping to keep the contents contained and protected.

The whole container is fully removable, so when you need the additional drawer capacity for shooting equipment, tools or other larger items, simply lift the Biscuit Container out and your drawer is ready to use.

Jump Board – Easier Access for Your Dogs with Practical Additional Workspace

Our Jump Board is a useful addition to your 4x4 or van dog box system, providing a sturdy, extendable platform to help your dogs jump in and out of their compartments.

Designed to make everyday loading and unloading more convenient, the Jump Board provides an intermediate step between the ground and your dog box, reducing the height your dogs need to jump in one movement.

This can be particularly beneficial for older dogs, smaller breeds or dogs that find jumping into higher vehicles more difficult, helping to make access to their compartments more manageable.

When not in use, the Jump Board simply slides away underneath your dog box system, keeping it neatly stored without taking up valuable floor space.

Important fitting and ordering information

Unlike some of our other optional extras, the Jump Board must be incorporated into the design of your dog box system from the outset.

The Jump Board assembly forms part of the overall structure of the installation and must be securely anchored to suitable fixing points within your vehicle to prevent tipping when extended.

For this reason, the Jump Board must be ordered before fitting of your dog box system has begun and cannot simply be added afterwards.

Not all vehicles have suitable attachment points, so please contact us before ordering to confirm whether a Jump Board can be safely incorporated into your chosen vehicle and dog box configuration.

Our Fixing Kit provides a straightforward and practical way to secure your dog box safely in your vehicle, helping to prevent unwanted movement whilst travelling.

The kit includes two strong ratchet straps, designed to hold your dog box firmly in position by connecting it to the existing fixing points in your vehicle. (Please check if your vehicle has suitable fixing points before ordering)

The ratchet straps can be attached to shackles fitted to your dog box or, where suitable, passed through the ventilation mesh. The other ends are secured to the fixing points in your vehicle, allowing the straps to be tightened to keep the box securely in place.
