Who we are

Information we use

When you contact us or order, we may use your name, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, vehicle details, selected products, optional extras, configuration, correspondence and order/payment records. Please only provide photographs and other information needed to explain your requirements.

Website orders and customer accounts are stored in our WordPress and WooCommerce system. Our enquiry controls can prepare a message in your email application; the message reaches us when you send it. We retain the correspondence we receive. Our website and hosting services also process technical information, such as IP addresses and security logs, to operate and protect the site.

Why we use your information

We use information to answer enquiries, prepare quotations, agree configurations, process orders and payments, arrange fitting or delivery, and provide after-sales support. We rely on taking steps at your request before a contract and performing our contract with you. We also use records to meet accounting and other legal obligations. Our legitimate interests include protecting the website, preventing fraud and dealing with business correspondence; these interests are balanced against your rights.

Where consent is required for optional analytics or marketing, we ask for it separately. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.

Payments and service providers

Online card payments are handled by Stripe. Card information is entered into Stripe’s secure payment fields; full card details are not stored on our website. We receive payment status and transaction references. Stripe also processes information under its own privacy notice at stripe.com/privacy.

Our website host, email provider, IT support, payment provider and relevant delivery providers may process information needed for their services. We share only what is needed for the relevant purpose. We use providers for website hosting, Microsoft 365 email, Stripe payments and Google Analytics where consent has been given. Some providers operate internationally. Please contact us if you want further information about particular providers and any transfer outside the UK.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies support functions such as the basket, checkout, security and your consent choices. Where optional analytics is enabled, the cookie controls explain the available choices. You can review or change your choices using the cookie settings button. Optional analytics is loaded only when you consent through the cookie controls.

How long we keep information

We keep information for the period needed for the relevant purpose, including fulfilling orders, providing support and meeting legal record-keeping requirements. We keep enquiry records while needed to respond and manage the resulting work, and order and accounting records for the applicable legal periods. Hosting logs and backups are retained for operational and security needs. We review records and remove or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or transfer of your personal information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. Contact us using the details above. Some rights are subject to legal conditions, and we may need to verify your identity.

You can raise a concern with us or complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We will update this notice when our practices change.
