The cooling fan which simply plugs into the cigarette lighter delivers approximately 100 CFM but uses a minimum amount of power, therefore allowing it to be used for long periods without flattening the vehicle battery when the engine is turned off.
This fan can be purchased as an optional extra when ordering a dog box or can be bought as a kit to add to your existing box.

Alternatively you can opt for our trunked ventilation system. In this system the fan is mounted on the back of the box and a roof trunking installed in the box. The trunking has a series of holes in it which disburses the air evenly around the box.
